Many people don't ask for a discount off the pre-determined packages because they feel intimidated by that piece of paper. If the price is printed on this sheet, then it must be so. Right? Technically, thats not true. Just like many other service establishments are open to negotiation, so too are people in the wedding business.

If a photographer is starving for an assignment, he or she will take just about any job they can get. Even those photographers who are not starving to find work and who are picky about clients will entertain the offer of an assignment at a lesser amount than what you are reading about in the brochure. The theory is that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, like the old adage says. The photographer will be guaranteed a job that day, while you will be locking in a great rate. It could be a win-win for both of you.
