Just Like You Would Check Out an Employee or a Tenant, Check
Out the Status of Your Photographer with the BBB and by
Asking Around.
When asked to provide references, most photographers will
offer names of couples they know are happy with their work.
And why wouldnt they? Some may even give you names from
weddings they performed several years ago, although it may
not be a true indication of the photographer's current
ability and reputation. When asking for references, ask for
recent weddings.
When you call those brides, ask questions like:
* Was the photographer was prompt, cordial, properly
dressed?
* Did the photographer perform the duties as expected, or
did they go the extra mile with customer service?
* Was the value of the photography services worth the price
that was paid?
* Overall, how happy were they with the wedding photographer
in question?
The definition of good photographs varies from person to
person, as everyone has their own perception of value and
expectations.
Your wedding photos are a permanent reminder of the love
story of your wedding day. All that matters in the end is
that your story guide is pleasing to you both as you begin
your new adventure as husband and wife.
