Instant Gratification
Digital Cameras Provide Instant Gratification So That You
Can Physically SEE the Imperfections in Lighting,
Expressions and the Like.
Oddly enough, I pondered my real fear of the digital camera.
It was change I feared most, which I did not like. I didnt
want to learn how to use digital. I was stubborn and set in
my ways. On the first day of its arrival, I played with the
new camera and even read the guidelet. I took pictures of
random things all day, and within a few hours I realized
that instant gratification was instantly gratifying. You
mean I can see the pictures immediately after I take them?
Wow, this is pretty cool.
Now I'll know when someone blinks or if the flash didnt go
off. I found myself taking a lot more pictures at weddings,
because I never had to stop and change a roll of film. I
guess this isnt so bad, I decided. After that day, I have
yet to use my film cameras again. I suppose they could be
hocked on eBay for next to nothing. The best part is that
all of the Canon lenses fit on all of the digital models,
meaning the only investment to make was in the camera body,
not a new set of lenses and filters.
