Make a list!

It will put your mind at ease. Put everything you want/crave/desire for the wedding of your dreams on a sheet of paper. Write down everything, from the dress to the (glass) slippers; and the flowers, caterer, band or DJ, rehearsal dinner even the napkins. Some wedding magazines offer cheat-cheat lists that you can add to. Next, put numbers next to each item, beginning with most important to least important. Determine your budget before writing this list. As you are choosing those things that are most important as the first priority, you will see the less important things the wish list fall to the bottom.

Unfortunately, as you get going on this task of preparation, you may notice that you will be over budget. don't worry about it. Focus on the top must-have items and work your way down. don't be discouraged, but do be more wary in finding creative ways to save money. You can and will be able to have a really nice wedding, as long as you get your priorities straight and focus on the main objective which is to get married!
